Business Overview
The Japan Deaf Theater Company, which is highly regarded in Japan and abroad for its sign language kyogen and is run by the social welfare corporation Totto Foundation established by actress Tetsuko Kuroyanagi at the Kita Noh Theater, will perform a piece from its representative repertoire and perform Kita-ryu noh "Kurozuka" with simultaneous interpretation in sign language by the company. This is the second Nohgaku Appreciation Meeting that aims to encourage both hearing and non-hearing people to enjoy together. This is the first ambitious attempt in the Nohgaku world to add sign language to the thrilling scenes of Aikyogen. In addition, with the cooperation of sound manufacturer Pioneer, a sensory sound system was introduced, and it is proposed as a complete stage appreciation method for the hearing-impaired by the combination of sign language interpretation and sensory sound.

A public interest incorporated foundation that continues its activities based at the Kita Noh Theater, the home of the Kita school, in order to pass down the achievements of Roppeita Kita, the 14 th head of the Kita school of Nohgaku shite-kata, who is famous as a master of modern Nohgaku, and to promote and hand down Nohgaku.
