Business Overview

This project takes place in Ryogoku, Sumida Ward, where various citizens and artists co-compose songs through workshops. In the process of joint creation, in addition to the pursuit of music, we will seek mutual understanding among participants through art and form a community where diverse citizens coexist. Based on these two pillars, we will develop community music activities that utilize the resources of local people and the environment in collaboration with diverse citizens, regardless of whether they have disabilities or not, or whether they have different occupations or positions. The finished works will be presented at concerts, and through performances of co-created music, the state of a community through music will be communicated. Profile

[Sokkyo Karameirudan]
A musical unit composed of musician Miki Akaba and percussionist Keiko Masaki. Started activities in 2006. In addition to creating songs, playing with sounds, and organizing music workshops using musical instruments, he also performs at concert halls, live houses, public facilities, and schools. Sponsored by the Uta no Sumiie Project. The aim is to create free and interesting works that are not bound by conventional ideas, and to create music that would not be possible without each and every person who participated in the workshop.
