Business Overview
The appeal of theatrical education, which is rarely known to the general public, will be widely and deeply known to working adults, children, educators and the elderly through concrete experiences. The distinctive feature of this troupe's unique methodology, "The Yamanote Method," is that it does not use a script at all, and it emphasizes the independence of the participants by letting them think about the movements and words themselves. This creates a strong desire to participate and a great sense of accomplishment. Toward the goal of "Make Tokyo a leading performing arts area." various workshops will be held in order to lay the groundwork for a citizen drama performance by residents of Ota Ward, where a theater group practice room is located, in three years.

Profile
[Theater Company Yamanote Jijosha]
A performing arts group representing modern Japanese theater. Formed mainly by Waseda University students in 1984. The director is Masahiro YASUDA. Since their formation, they have consistently searched for the form of modern theater through experimental performances. There is a theatrical company headquarters in Ota Ward, Tokyo that also serves as a private practice hall. We continue our activities based on the philosophy of "Theater is nothing but a theater experience. The theater experience is a physiological experience of the literary image of the director and playwright. all elements of theater (actors, art, lighting, music, costumes) should serve the experience."
