Business Overview
Teruhisa FUKUDA (shakuhachi) and Kokuni KINEYA (shamisen) gave the 19 th public performance of the Shogaku Seikai. Miyoko HAYASHI played a supporting role in koto. First, he will demonstrate his tradition with two solo works: the shakuhachi honkyoku "Seicho Ajikan" and the shamisen "Shinkinuta." Then a new work by Akira Tanba, Masao Endo, Koji Izumi and Wataru Miyagawa will be performed. Akira TANBA's' Oto no Interference No. 10 'is a piece composed of traditional sankyoku pieces (shakuhachi, shamisen and koto). The works by Masao ENDO, Koji IZUMI and Wataru MIYAGAWA (title yet to be determined) are duets composed of shakuhachi and shamisen, and although this group has great potential as an ensemble, there are still very few works. The shamisen also has a traditional voice. It will be an opportunity to think about the succession of traditional music that has been supported by people, climate, and time, and the possibility of new traditional music created by contemporary composers.
