2015 Social Support Grants through Arts and Culture

Business Overview

Our association has been promoting the production of subtitles and audio guides, but since each film and video work is completely different from the other, a monitoring review meeting is held for each work to promote barrier-free work that accurately conveys the message of the work. To this end, it is essential to have a monitor who can read the message of the work and give an accurate opinion based on the degree of one's own disability. In this project, the visually and hearing impaired are invited to participate in a workshop where they can experience a monitor to connect disability with art and culture. By raising the awareness of those involved and conveying the appeal of barrier-free production to filmmakers, we hope to realize more creative barrier-free images.
