FY26 Phase II Creation Grant [Single-year grant program]

Business Overview

New work from OrganWorks, an organization led by Shintaro Hirahara. This work returns to Japanese literature and art, and is based on the Japanese idea of men. The theme is the superficial concept of 'men' that the Japanese have, and the elements of Japanese literature, Noh and classical music are used. In addition, the art concept by Midori Harima, a contemporary artist working in New York, is mixed, and the identity of the Japanese sense, which is seen by comparing the classical and modern senses, is expressed with a high degree of physicality.
