Business Overview
An international Taiwanese-Japan co-production project that adapts Kawabata Yasunari's three short stories (Directed by Nozoe Seiji, Liu Ryoen, Yamagata Mirai.) to the stage, toured Shanghai. The ACT Shanghai International Contemporary Theater Festival is one of the major international theater festivals in China, celebrating 10 years this year. This year, organizations from 12 countries around the world are scheduled to participate.

Profile
Kawabata Yasunari Trilogy
Started in 2012 by YAMAGATA Mirai (Tokyo), LIU Ryoen (Taipei) and NOZOE Seiji (Tokyo). The aim is to develop a unique artistic style that transcends the barriers of history, culture and politics through cross-cultural exchange by adapting Kawabata Yasunari's short story on stage in a foreign country. Company members are from Japan, Taiwan and China. So far, he has performed "One Arm" (performed by Seiji NOZOE in Tokyo/Taipei), "Shonen" (performed by Ryoen LIU in Tokyo), and "Crystal Fantasy" (performed by Mirai YAMAGATA in Taipei). In spring of 2014, he performed all three works simultaneously at Komaba Agora Theater.
