Business Overview
In the autumn of 2014, a new dance festival “Dance New Air – Dance Tomorrow ” will be born, taking over“ Dance Triennale Tokyo ” which has been held in Aoyama, Tokyo since 2002. At Aoyama Amphitheater and Spiral Hall, eight works focusing on collaborative creation will be performed. During the 24 day exhibition, there will be a variety of dance programs, including outdoor performances at the Children's Castle Piloti, dance films at the Theater Image Forum, a book fair at the Aoyama Book Center, as well as dance workshops, artist-in-residence and work-in-progress. The first edition of "Dance New Air" focuses on collaborative creation that transcends boundaries of countries, languages, and artistic fields, and aims to open up new horizons by risking their existence. Experience the present and future of dance in Aoyama, a city where art and everyday life merge.
