Business Overview
In this year "Japan-Caribbean Exchange Year 2014," Eitetsu Hayashi, who has been appointed as a cultural exchange envoy and is scheduled to stay mainly in New York, will give a presentation on the ongoing Taiko music (the latest stage performance expressed only by taiko drums) as well as an introduction to the next generation Taiko group "Eitetsu Fuun no Kai" which he has developed with a global perspective. It is expected that the new stage of "Taiko("Japanese Taiko" is now recognized overseas as "Taiko.")" that Eitetsu Hayashi always creates and proposes will be transmitted to the Taiko group in North America, which has a great influence, and that exchange and cultural experience with musicians from the Caribbean Gulf countries, which is a treasure house of Latin rhythm, will be a new approach to the world music from Japan that Eitetsu Hayashi aims.
