Profile

[Persimmon Eaters]
Established a theater group on New Year's Day 2006. A theater group that performs works directed by Norihito NAKAYASHI. Emphasizing the fictionality of theater, he portrays the existence of human beings and the devastation of society ironically by using highly fictionalized speech and acting methods, and is good at creating a stage that elicits cynicism from the audience. His field of activities continues to expand, including domestic tours, overseas performances and international co-productions through the International Theater Exchange Project, residencies at public halls, the Theater Project to Watch with Children, and performances of Shakespeare's adaptation series "Shakespeare the Woman."
