Beautiful lights, taste of autumn, autumn festival with stage program. Produced by world-renowned lighting designer Mikiko Ishii, it combines Japan's new energy creation technology and design to create a variety of beautiful lights. With the refurbished Fountain Square in the center of Ueno Park as the venue, the Tokyo National Museum, the National Museum of Nature and Science, the National Museum of Western Art, the Ueno Zoo, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, as well as the four prefectures of Tohoku participating in an unprecedented outdoor festival of light, sound, and taste to support reconstruction efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake, will be held. In the daytime, mainly children can learn about energy while playing by experiencing "creating energy" by human power and wind power generation using aero bikes and large round fans.
