He was invited to the International Deaf Arts Festival "Crandoille 2013" held in Reims, France, as a representative of Japan, a special host country. He also performs independently in London. Sign language kyogen, which has been performed for more than 30 years, will be performed in France and England for the first time, and Deaf people and theater lovers from Europe and around the world will be able to see this theater work that fuses the traditional culture of kyogen with the Deaf language of sign language. Through cultural exchanges with the Deaf across Europe, he aims to broaden his horizons as a Japanese Deaf actor and improve his skills.

In 1980, Deaf people who like theater gathered to form the Tokyo Deaf Theater Circle. In 1982, it became a theater company affiliated with the Totto Foundation and was renamed the 'Japan Deaf Theater Company.'. Since then, for more than 30 years, the company has been making efforts to improve the culture of the Deaf through performances that can be enjoyed by both deaf and hearing people, including sign language kyogen under the guidance of Ukon Miyake of Izumi school, visual theater created by the company's own creation, movement theater combining sign language and mime, and sign mime, all over the country and the world.
