This is a performance where geisha belonging to 'Tokyo Kagurazaka Association' located in Kagurazaka, Shinjuku Ward, perform arts such as dance, Tokiwazu, Kiyomoto, nagauta and narimono, and has been held almost once a year since 1963. The number of audience is about 400 for 1 part and 1,200 in total for 3 parts. The purpose of the festival is to preserve, maintain and develop traditional performing arts and to disseminate them to the people in and out of the region.

Since 1963, the geisha who support the world of geisha have held Kagurazaka Odori (Kagurazaka Dance) as a place to show off their daily training in traditional arts such as Japanese dance, Tokiwazu, Kiyomoto, nagauta, and narimono, and have been working to preserve, maintain, and develop traditional performing arts. In 2011, Kagurazaka Odori was designated as a local cultural property of Shinjuku Ward, and the organization has been working to ensure that valuable traditional culture is passed on to the next generation, as well as disseminating it both inside and outside the region.
