BATIK, led by Kuroda Ikuyo, will celebrate its 10 year anniversary in 2012. As a turning point for the company that has continued to dance and create, a new work "Preparation for Calling Otarutori" is released. "Otaru" refers to the natural movement of the body when it is filled with feelings of joy, sadness and affection. It is also said to be the origin of the word 'odoru.'. Birds transcend national borders. (Otarutori 'was coined by Ikuyo KURODA.)

【BATIK】
An all-female dance company choreographed by Kuroda Ikuyo. He started his career in 2002 and released works such as Side B, SHOKU, Flowers Flow, Time Sets, and Pendant Eve. Based on ballet, this radical and dynamic work, which pushes the body to the extreme, combines with the original impulse of dance and is supported by people across genres. There are many performances overseas.
