Business Overview

Straight play comedy. A straight-up comedy that parodies Woody Allen's 1994 crime comedy Broadway and the Bullet and replaces the setting with Japan in the late 20 century. It was a story about a young playwright who took over a theater company due to the death of a great playwright, and a man at the bottom of a gangster trying to create a comedy to benefit the theater-loving boss. Through the interaction between two different vertical societies, the entertainment industry and the gangsters, he appealed to the patriarchy and the form of social control.
Starring Ohara Osamurai, Kato Aoi, Kamiya Yushi, Kanno Akane, Kobayashi Asma, Senda Yuina, Nakamura Ryoma, Numaguchi Shunya, and Miura Ayuta.
The show was performed for four days at Theatre 711 and was attended by less than 300 people.
