Performance "Otomatope"

Business Overview
Based on onomatopoeia (onomatopoeia) such as onomatopoeia and mimetic words, he created and performed "Otomatope," a musical performance combining music and drama. Musical theater is a new form of expression in which sound and performance are fused. In musical theater, where sensations are translated into sound, each instrument becomes a voice that "speaks not words but sounds" and expresses emotions in an impromptu manner. On stage, Rika, a young girl, engaged in nonverbal sensory sharing and impromptu dialogue through a story in which “magic dust ” turns the entire sound world into onomatopoeia. The performers include actor Rika Koyama, Harada Yu (clarinet), Sato Akinatsumi (bassoon), Sato Miki (cello), Moriyama Sogo (keyboard percussion instrument), and Saito Yuta (body percussion and percussion instrument). Music, script and direction were provided by Koka IGANAMI.
