Business Overview

In the second phase of the “Paperback ” project to form a platform for discourses on performing arts, we implemented the“ Paperback WEB ” project, which is an online platform for discourses before and after performing arts works through interviews and critical articles.
In the 2nd term from July 2024, we invited Yurika KURAMIYA, an art coordinator and dance critic, as a guest curator, and published articles on 4 stage works. In addition to interviews and critical articles featuring works curated by the editorial department, led by editor-in-chief Yamazaki Kenta, a collaboration project with public theaters has also started. It also published a report on a talk event and a roundtable discussion, drawing attention.

Started in May 2017 as a personal project of Kenta Yamazaki, from 2017 to 2018 he published 4 volumes of theater criticism magazine, Paperbacks.
Restarted as the second phase in November 2023. In addition to publishing two theater criticism magazines, he launched a new online platform for the language of performing arts, "Kamisai WEB." One interview and two reviews are published for each performing art work, and it is unique in that it provides one-stop communication of the discourse before and after the performance.
