Business Overview

The YURAKUCHO ART SIGHT PROJECT is a project that aims to build a new relationship between the city and art by using the temporary enclosure of a construction site and the facade of a building as a stage. With the aim of bringing diverse perspectives to the city and creating new communication between people and works by displaying works created through the artist's research of the place, various works have been exhibited in the New International Building, New Tokyo Building, Marunouchi Park Building, etc. since 2020. This time, the temporary enclosure of the Yurakucho Building and the New Yurakucho Building will be used as the stage to present works by six artists who have been working at YAU STUDIO, the base of Yurakucho Art Urbanism YAU. The project was planned and produced by "TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC RESEARCH," an artist collective that pursues and practices contemporary photographic expression.

Centered on photographer Taisuke Koyama, this is an artist collective consisting of a wide range of artists and researchers involved in photographic expression. With the mission of "multifaceted urban research" and "practical exploration of contemporary photography," the aim is to visualize the unseen image of cities, society, and people, and to pass on this vision to the future. Currently, he is working on archive photography for the future of the Yurakucho area and the KK Line (Tokyo Expressway).
