Business Overview

Composer and improviser Ishikawa Jun and dance painter Ree Risako, who dances while painting with toe shoes, are a sister and brother artist unit.
The group stayed at the Treasure Hill Artist Village located in Taipei, Taiwan from June to August, where they exhibited and performed a new work called "Lion Dance" that attempted to combine Taiwan's art culture with "Dance Notation," a unique system that synchronizes music, painting and dance.
Inspired by the music and architecture associated with the lion dance in Taiwan, the edgy sound of a Beijing opera is expressed with a high degree of originality through an atonal style of music. The music and dance scores are in Taiwanese, and elements of Chinese dance and martial arts are incorporated into the dance and costumes to create an innovative and powerful lion.

[ISHIKAWA Jun]
Born 1991. He started composing music at the age of five.
Graduated from the Music Department of Tokyo University of the Arts. Emphasizing melody, he works in various styles from contemporary music to pop music. In addition to performing commissioned premieres and planned performances, he provides various musical compositions and orchestrations including film music and dance music.
In 2014, she appeared as a student in the workshop "20 Century Music" of "schola schola Ryuichi SAKAMOTO Music Classroom" on NHK E TV program.
In 2020, he composed the music for the Takuya Kato film "Kanteimaru Kukai etude".
In 2023, he composed the music for the film "Everything is everywhere." directed by Rimkawai.
