Bunkamura is working on the DISCOVER WORLD THEATRE series, a collaborative project between Japanese and foreign creators to present outstanding foreign plays from a contemporary perspective. King Lear was performed this fall as part of the 15 series. Bringing in Philip Breen, who has made the most appearances in the series, to direct this modern and fresh re-translation by Breen, the most daring and gorgeous cast could ever be.
