[Nitosha Theatre Company]
Established by Shizuka Oishi and Ai Nagai in 1981. Since 91, he has produced works written and directed by Nagai. In 95, he received the Arts Festival Grand Prize from the Agency for Cultural Affairs for "Papa no Democracy." Since then, he has received many awards including the Kinokuniya Theater Award, the Kishida Kunio Drama Award, the Yomiuri Engeki Taisho (Yomiuri Theater Grand Prize), and the Asahi Performing Arts Award from Nagai himself, and the Grand Prix of the Asahi Performing Arts Award and the Yomiuri Engeki Taisho (Yomiuri Theater Grand Prize) from Futosha. It will provide "thinking entertainment" works that present diverse lifestyles and values based on the theme of what is happening in society.
