Cross-Language × Experiential Theater Production Project

Business Overview
Interlingual Immersive Theater "Crossing" was an experiential theater in which multiple languages, including Japanese Sign Language, spoken Japanese, International Sign Language, and non-linguistic expressions, intermingled with deaf and hearing people.
There were single- and bilingual actors, and the audience took part in the storytelling experience, wavering between "understanding" and "not understanding" depending on their language.
In this game, the difference between visual language and spoken language, and the information security itself were utilized as a gimmick, and the system in which the participants' own choices and actions created the next flow was utilized.
