Pauju Vol.2「Downstate」



Business Overview
The second performance of the unit "Pouju" by director Inaba Yoshie and translator Ichikawa Hana. "Downstate" written by Bruce Norris was translated for the first time in Japan and performed. Depicts the confrontation between the victim and the perpetrator at a group home where four men who have been convicted of sex crimes against minors and served their sentences live together.

A playground where director Inaba Yoshie and translator Ichikawa Hana explore the work of "translation". The name of the group was coined by arranging "Pause," which frequently appears in English plays, as if it were baby language.
