Business Overview
This project was planned at Za Koenji, a theater located in Koenji, in order to convey the appeal of documentaries to the general public without being bound by the boundaries of television and film, and was managed by the producers themselves, with Yutaka YAMAZAKI, a well-known cameraman, serving as the program director and Mitsuru KASEZAWA, a film director, as the executive committee chairperson.
There are three screening categories: special screening, guest selector, and competition. In this year's special screening category, films were selected under the theme of "passion and enthusiasm." In the guest selector category, films recommended by famous guests, including film director Hirokazu Koreeda, were screened, with the aim of conveying to the public the appeal of documentary film culture by having various guests talk about the appeal of documentaries from their own perspectives.
