Business Overview

With Eima Yuasa at the center, the workshop was continued to try to talk with the body as a communication tool. In the Dance & Dialogue WS, which is aimed mainly at those who have never danced, Osamu Sunatsurao, Mariko Kakizaki and Sonono Ueda were invited as guest guides. The differences in body views and ways of relating to others naturally rise up among the participants, and their experiences have spilled over into participation in and appreciation of art communities outside of nosmosis, as well as the challenge of creating and performing works.

In addition, for the first time this year, we held a screening of a documentary film created based on the footage continuously recorded by Director Miyai Yu, a workshop for parents and children, and a Cross Community Lab (CCL) for young dancers. At the CCL, discussions were held on WS that included social issues and the disclosure of the creative process. In the end, practices were shared through tryout WS and activity reports, and the possibility of audience involvement in the creative process was explored.

Profile

【 Nosmosis Executive Committee 】
Through dance as a communication tool, it is an activity that puts more emphasis on the process and research by trying to communicate with people who have difficulty connecting with art due to physical, mental, environmental, generational, and social differences. We aim to create a flexible platform for people to experience the joy of living together through workshops, performance work, and other activities, and to think about mutual relationships and coexistence.
