Social Grant Program: Activity Report

Since FY2015, Arts Council Tokyo has been implementing a program called "Social Grant" that subsidizes artistic activities in which people from various social environments can participate together and demonstrate their creativity while respecting each other's individuality, as well as activities that take advantage of the characteristics of art and culture and the abilities of artists to tackle various social issues.
Here, we will deliver activity report videos and activity report reports by organizations that have completed subsidized activities.

Since FY Reiwa 4, Arts Council Tokyo has held activity report meetings for organizations that have implemented projects with the support of "Social Grant". From Reiwa 6, we have been publishing online activity reports by organizations that have completed their three-year subsidy activities with the long-term support of this grant program.

This time, we will introduce the practices of Gekidan Dogao, a limited company that supports social participation through the experience of creating a stage together with friends for young people who have difficulty living. We hope that this report will be useful to those who are interested in learning about the awareness we gained in the process of implementing the project and how the young people who participated in it changed.
