Creation Grant subsidizes a portion of the activity expenses of Tokyo-based arts organizations and other organizations in order to support various creative activities in Tokyo and their bearers.
We open the call for applications by category according to the purpose of the activity and the grant period, and in the Category III [Single-year Grant] Creative Environment Improvement Activity, we support activities that address issues in the artistic creative environment and look at the entire field.

2026年2月3日に公募を開始する2026年度 第1期 東京芸術文化創造発信助成「カテゴリーIII［単年助成］創造環境向上活動」について、助成申請を検討されている方を対象にオンライン公募説明会を開催します。参加を希望される方は、各回締切日までに申し込みフォームからお申し込みください。
※「カテゴリーIII［単年助成］創造環境向上活動」について説明いたします。カテゴリーⅠは別日程となります。
※参加に際しては、「公募ガイドライン」を必ず事前にお読みください。
※公募説明会への参加は助成の採否には影響しません。

Projects that contribute to the improvement of the creative environment for artists and other persons engaged in various creative activities by grasping the current state and issues of the artistic creative environment in Tokyo, and by making practical efforts to solve the issues, and that involve some kind of public disclosure or recruitment.

- Organizations headquartered in Tokyo (Arts groups, NPOs, executive committees, intermediate support groups, etc.)

- Music, theater, dance, art and video, traditional performing arts, and mixed arts (art activities whose core field cannot be specified)

- 1 million yen and up to 2/3 of the subsidised expenses
* The subsidy amount is calculated by comprehensively judging the basic policy and budget of this subsidy program, so it may be less than the requested amount. Amounts less than 1,000 yen are rounded down.

* Co-sponsored projects and affiliated projects with facilities managed and operated by Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture are not eligible for subsidies.
*Projects sponsored or co-sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government or Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, or projects that have been provided with subsidies, support funds, subsidies, commission fees, etc. from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, or projects that are scheduled to be paid, are not eligible for subsidies. However, you can apply for this grant for projects that are or are scheduled to be subsidized by Arts Council Tokyo under the "Grant for Accessibility".
