FY 2025 Tokyo Arts and Culture Promotion Subsidy Category II [Long-term Subsidy] Creative Arts Activities

The "Tokyo Arts and Culture Promotion Subsidy" provides a partial subsidy to Tokyo-based arts organizations to support diverse creative activities in Tokyo and their leaders.
Applications are accepted in four categories according to the purpose of the activity and the duration of the subsidy. Category II [long-term subsidy] Artistic creativity activities support projects that require continuous, phased efforts over a period of two or three years, including not only presentation activities but also research and production processes such as trial performances.

From 10:00 on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 to 18:00 on Wednesday, July 30

Applications for the public offering are available online. Please use the application form to register the applicant, fill in the fields, and upload the necessary documents.

2025年7月1日に公募を開始する2025年度「東京芸術文化創造発信助成」について、助成申請を検討されている方を対象にオンライン公募説明会を開催します。参加を希望される方は、各回締切日までに申し込みフォームからお申し込みください。
 ※「カテゴリーⅡ[長期助成]」「カテゴリーIII[長期助成]」について説明いたします。
 ※参加に際しては、申請を希望されるカテゴリーの「公募ガイドライン」を必ず事前にお読みください。
 ※公募説明会への参加は助成の採否には影響しません。
 ※申請にあたってのご質問は、お問い合わせフォームで承ります。

Application Guidelines

Implementation period of the target project
Projects beginning on or after January 1, 2026 and ending by December 31, 2027 (two years)
or
Projects beginning on or after January 1, 2026 and ending by December 31, 2028 (three years)
target business
(1)A comprehensive project consisting of performances, concerts, exhibitions, screenings, etc., and various related activities (*) to achieve long-term goals
*Research, workshops, lectures, conferences, residential productions, translations, readings, archives, etc., which are related to the preparation stage of creative activities, and presentation of results in a format different from performances, concerts, exhibitions, and screenings.
(2)A business that is motivated to step up to become an international art organization representing Tokyo and gradually approaches its goals through creative activities and other activities.
(3)A project that plans, organizes and produces programs based on a unique artistic perspective, and conducts public and presentation activities in a way that has ripple and transmission power.

Organizations headquartered in Tokyo (Arts groups, private theaters and art spaces, executive committees, etc.)

Music, theater, dance, art and video (film), traditional performing arts, and mixed arts (art activities whose core field cannot be specified)

* Only applicable to organizations
* The amount of the subsidy is calculated by comprehensively judging the basic policy and budget of this subsidy program, so it may be less than the requested amount. Amounts less than 1,000 yen are rounded down.
* Starting from FY 2025, all consumption tax and local consumption tax will not be eligible for subsidies. Please be careful.

*Projects co-sponsored or affiliated with facilities managed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture are not eligible for subsidies.
* Projects sponsored or co-sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government or the Tokyo Metropolitan History and Culture Foundation, or projects that have received or are scheduled to receive subsidies, subsidy, subsidy, commission fees, etc. from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government or the Tokyo Metropolitan History and Culture Foundation are not eligible for subsidies. However, it is possible to apply for the "Tokyo Arts and Culture Appreciation Support Subsidy" provided by the Arts Council Tokyo for projects that have received or are scheduled to receive this subsidy.
