Def space design is a space design that takes advantage of Deaf people's senses, visual, tactile, and physical senses, as well as their unique behavior and Deaf culture.
The Metote Lab is conducting research focusing on Def Spaces, the homes of Deaf people. There are many hints for thinking about the natural culture that comes from sign language and the physicality of the Deaf.
In this workshop, we will create a collage of tools unique to DEF SPACE and images extracted from magazines and advertisements, and try to imagine DEF SPACE design in everyday living spaces. Would you like to draw a "life with differential space" together?
We are looking forward to the participation of those who want to introduce differential space design into their home and visually communicate differential space!
