As part of its cultural strategy aimed at improving the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture, the Arts Council Tokyo is implementing a program to support the creation of attractive arts and culture. In order to support more artists and staff, this grant is intended for innovative creative activities, festivals, and art projects that have sustained and ripple power and involve multiple organizations and many artists. In addition, actual support (with upper limit) will be provided separately for the following two types of support expenses.
From a total of 125 projects that received applications during the first public offering period (Friday, March 28, 2025 to Thursday, May 15), a total of 30 projects (with a total grant decision of 309,483,004 yen) were selected through the screening committee. Of these, 3 digital development support grants and 7 creative environment support grants totaling 6,472,004 yen.
