[Call for Participation | 2nd Call] Kunitachi Art Center 2025CAST

It is about 30 km from Shinjuku and takes about 40 minutes.
In the Tama area, including Kunitachi City, there are many artists who have ateliers and live there.
Kunitachi Art Center is a program to exhibit and traverse the city at ateliers, galleries, and shops scattered in Kunitachi City and its vicinity.
I will tell you the background of the production that you cannot usually see, and the blank space that is interesting not only for viewing the work but also for communicating with the artist.
The program will take place within the city on a city-wide field. By going around the exhibits, you may be able to rediscover the town and have a new perspective.
This year, the 6th exhibition, we plan to hold tours of each exhibition space, talk events and workshops.
Through programs in the middle of the city, we will transmit culture in a way that is closer to everyday life.
We aim to nurture culture in this town while exploring the outline of our activities.

You can apply for any reason, such as "I like art," "I want to be involved in event management," "I want to talk with various people," etc.
All ages, occupations, and volunteer experience are welcome.

Activities of CAST

event preparation

We will conduct various activities in preparation for the event. There are a wide range of activities such as attending meetings, sending promotional materials, and assisting exhibition artists in their preparations.

Information

Attend visitors and monitor and maintain the venue in the space where exhibitions and public works are held.

tour guide

We will guide a tour around the exhibition space during the period.

Other

We will help you prepare for events during the program.

Number of applicants

Approximately 20 (We will select the number of applicants based on the application guidelines.)

CAST (Volunteer) Activity Period

Approximately 5 months from September to November 2025

Invitation to an exchange meeting

As the opening event of Kunitachi Art Center 2025, we are planning to hold an exchange event with participating artists, Space and CAST.
It will be a valuable opportunity to interact directly with the artists and people who manage the space, so if you are a CAST member, please join us.
Details will be announced only to relevant parties after CAST is decided.

• Lunch is not provided during the period, so please prepare your own.
