The Metote Lab Archive Project is one of the programs of the Metote Lab, which aims to create a place (home) where people who speak visual language (Japanese sign language) take the lead in creating an emergent place (home) based on their senses and language.
This program explores and archives the lives and languages of various people, starting with home videos taken mainly in Deaf households, in order to cultivate the daily lives and cultures of people who live with visual language, and to preserve our lives and languages for the distant future and to spread this richness to the world.
This time, a seminar style program will be held for those who are interested in the archive project. Why don't you learn about archiving and planning and management, and think about and put into practice initiatives to preserve our lives and languages for the future?
