【 Held 】 The details of the large-scale concert "KITA! 1010 people in Senju" performed by 1010 musicians will be announced!

On Sunday, October 12, 2025, a large-scale concert "KITA! 1010 people in Senju" will be held at Senju Sports Park with 1010 musicians. This is a project of the Nomura Makoto Senju Dajare Music Festival, which has been active for 15 years in connection with the art project Art Access Adachi Otomachi Senju, which is centered in the Senju area of Adachi Ward. This is the second time in 11 years since the "1010 People in Senju" held at Adachi Market in 2014.

The title of the concert, "KITA!" has many meanings including the venue,, the second concert back, and “KITA ” which means“ we ” in Indonesian. It is also a participatory concert that aims to create a scene where people gather together and "we" perform in our own way.

The director of the concert is composer Nomura Makoto. On the day, composers and guest artists from Southeast Asia and other parts of Japan will gather, as well as members of the general public, to perform a performance that can only be performed by 1010 people. There will be a part where not only the audience can watch the concert but also the audience can enjoy it together. Various musical instruments and daily necessities are used in the performance, such as streamers, voices, guitars, recorders, saxophones, koto, shells, gamelans, smartphones, and rice cookers and pots. Please be sure to watch the 1010 people performing together only on this day.

A new song for 1010 people written by a composer I adore. It's a really airy, free expression that appeals directly to your body. The underlying theme is coexistence. This is a time of constant conflict and confrontation, so we do "Anything goes!" ensemble that doesn't exclude anyone. I don't mean to align with each other, but I want you to experience how beautiful and wonderful we (KITA) sound as a collection of various personalities. After many rehearsals with members of the public and talented guest artists, we are preparing with all our strength. I'll be waiting for you.
