This year's event, the 16th in total, will be held for a total of four days: Saturday, October 4, 2025 and 5 (Sun.) at Hamarikyu Gardens (Chuo Ward, Tokyo), known as a representative daimyo garden of the Edo period, and Saturday, October 18 and 19 (Sun.) at Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum (Koganei City, Tokyo), a metropolitan open-air museum exhibiting historical buildings that still exist in Tokyo.

The Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony is a tea ceremony event that is open not only to those who have experienced the tea ceremony, but also to young people, children, and foreigners who are not familiar with the tea ceremony, in order to disseminate Japanese traditional culture and performing arts both domestically and abroad, and to pass on and spread them to the next generation.

In addition to the Tea Ceremony and Nodate, Hamarikyu Gardens will host a number of tea ceremony programs where students can enjoy the culture of tea, including the English Nodate where the culture of tea ceremony and the spirit of hospitality are explained in English (with serial interpretation) and the High School Nodate where students from the tea ceremony club of a high school in Tokyo will serve tea outdoors.
At Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum, there will be a "Tea Ceremony in English" where the history of the tea ceremony and manners will be explained with English translation, and a "Tea Ceremony with Children" where junior high school students and younger and their parents can enjoy tea while learning the manners of the tea ceremony and the spirit of hospitality.
