Ticket applications for the stage production "Don't Shut Up, Move, Breathe" where Deaf people and hearing people encounter each other will start from 10:00 on Monday, September 1.
"Don't Shut Up, Move, Breathe" has been a collaborative effort between Deaf people and listeners since 2023 as a cultural program for the Deaflympics World Championships in Athletics to be held in Tokyo this fall.
There are two towns in the game: Mist Town, which uses sign language, and Hyakutai Town, which uses Japanese as its language. The residents of the two towns don't understand each other's languages. The audience, as well as the characters, are encouraged to enjoy the process of gradually developing communication in order to get to know each other.
