Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo launched "Tokyo Live & Stage Support Grant" as part of its cultural strategy to enhance the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture from FY2023. This grant subsidizes a portion of the expenses related to performances to support performing arts (theater, dance, dance, music, traditional performing arts, etc.) activities by small and medium-sized organizations that support the diversity of Tokyo's arts and culture.
This time, from a total of 290 projects that applied during the second period of FY2024 (September 4, 2024 (Wednesday) ~ September 26, 2024 (Thursday)), a total of 162 projects (total amount of grant decisions of 153,868 thousand yen) were selected after a screening meeting.
