The "Support for Society through Arts and Culture" program implemented by the Arts Council Tokyo of the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture supports art activities in which people from various social environments can participate together and demonstrate their creativity while respecting each other's individuality, as well as activities that utilize the characteristics of art and culture to address various social and urban issues. Its purpose is to support pioneering activities that promote the new significance of art and culture in society and the ideal way of art that is open to all people, and activities that steadily contribute to solving problems from a long-term perspective.
We have decided on the projects that will be eligible for the Social Support Subsidy through Arts and Culture in FY 2024 Phase 2.
In this fiscal year, we received 9 applications out of 38. The total amount of the grant is 11,889,000 yen.
