As part of its cultural strategy aimed at improving the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture, the Arts Council Tokyo is implementing a program to support the creation of attractive arts and culture. In order to support more artists and staff, this grant is intended for innovative creative activities, festivals, and art projects that have sustained and ripple power and involve multiple organizations and many artists. In addition, actual support (with upper limit) will be provided for the following two types of support expenses.
From a total of 115 projects that received applications during the public offering period (Monday, August 19, 2024 to Tuesday, September 24) for the 2nd fiscal year, a total of 23 projects (with a total grant amount of 222,129,000 yen) were selected through the screening committee. Of these, 3 grants were for digital development support and 6 grants were for creative environment support (total 10,198,000 yen).
