As part of its cultural strategy to enhance the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture, the Arts Council Tokyo has started the Tokyo Live Stage Support Program this fiscal year. In order to restore a vibrant arts, culture and entertainment environment in Tokyo, this grant will support performing arts (Theater, dance, music, traditional arts, etc.) activities by small and medium-sized organizations that are recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
From a total of 256 projects that received applications during the public offering period of Phase 2 (Friday, September 15 to Wednesday, October 11, 2023), a total of 128 projects (with a total grant amount of 122,608,000 yen) were selected through the Review Board.
