As part of our cultural strategy to improve the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture, Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo has launched "Tokyo Live & Stage Support Grant" this year. This grant supports performing arts (theater, dance, music, etc.) activities by small and medium-sized organizations that are recovering from the coronavirus pandemic in order to restore a vibrant arts, culture, and entertainment environment in Tokyo.
From a total of 431 projects that received applications during the first public offering period (Tuesday, May 16, 2023 to Wednesday, May 31), a total of 194 projects (with a total grant amount of 177,152,000 yen) were selected through the screening committee.
