Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo supports creative activities to improve the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture and disseminate them to the world, promote local culture and traditional performing arts, and engage in artistic activities that address various social and urban issues.
We have decided on the target projects for the first Creation Grant of the Reiwa 4 (2022) fiscal year.
There were 242 applications for the "Category I Single-Year Grant Phase 1" and 54 were adopted (22.3% acceptance rate). The total amount of the planned subsidy is 76,809,000 yen.
There were 24 applications for the Category II Long-term Grant, and 2 were adopted (8.3% acceptance rate). The total amount of the subsidy is 13,713,000 yen.
There were 29 applications (19 long-term grants, 10 single-year grants) for "Category III projects that contribute to the improvement of the artistic creative environment [long-term grants] [single-year grants]", and 3 applications were adopted (0 long-term grants, 3 single-year grants) (10.3% acceptance rate). The total amount of the planned grant is 2,170,000 yen (long-term grant: 0 yen, single-year subsidy: 2,170,000 yen).
