The Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo supports creative activities that enhance the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture, promote local culture and traditional performing arts, and address various social and urban issues.
We have determined the projects eligible for the FY 2022 FY 1 Tokyo Arts and Culture Promotion Subsidy.
We received 242 applications for Category I Single Year Grants (Period 1) and selected 54 of them (22.3% acceptance rate). The total amount of the subsidy is 76,809,000 yen.
We received 24 applications for Category II Long-Term Grants and selected 2 of them (8.3% acceptance rate). The total amount of the subsidy is 13,713,000 yen.
We received 29 applications (19 long-term grants, 10 annual grants) for Category III Projects that Contribute to the Improvement of the Creative Environment for the Arts [Long-term Subsidy] [Single Year Subsidy Phase 1], and 3 were selected (No long-term grants, 3 single-year grants) (10.3% acceptance rate). The total amount of the grant is 2.17 million yen (Long-term subsidy: 0 yen, Single-year subsidy: 2.17 million yen).
