In fiscal 2021, the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo established a new start-up subsidy program to support new artistic activities by up-and-coming artists and art organizations that are trying to develop activities in the Tokyo art scene.
We have determined the projects eligible for the 2nd Startup Subsidy in FY 2021.
We received 313 applications and selected 23 (7.3% acceptance rate). The total amount of the subsidy is 16,507,000 yen.
