In fiscal 2021, the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo launched a new subsidy program entitled "Subsidy for Experiencing Traditional Performing Arts." Targeting projects sponsored by Tokyo-based arts organizations, theaters, and music halls, we will subsidize projects in which first-timers can easily enter various traditional performing arts and experience them on their own continuously.
We are pleased to announce that the projects eligible for the 2021 Traditional Performing Arts Experience Subsidy have been selected.
We received 44 applications and selected 17 (38.6% acceptance rate). The total amount of the subsidy is 10 million yen.
