Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo supports creative activities to improve the appeal of Tokyo's arts and culture and to disseminate them to the world, promote local culture, and engage in artistic activities that address various social and urban issues.
We have decided on the target projects for the first Creation Grant of the first period of Reiwa 3 (2021).
Creation Grant has been open to the public for three categories from this fiscal year according to the purpose of the activity and the subsidy period.
There were 204 applications for the "Category I Single-Year Grant Phase 1" and 75 were adopted (acceptance rate 36.8%). The total amount of the planned subsidy is 74,997 thousand yen.
There were 23 applications for the Category II Long-Term Grant, and 3 were adopted (13% acceptance rate). The total amount of the grant is 21,575,000 yen.
There were 18 applications (10 long-term grants, 8 single-year grants) for "Category III projects that contribute to the improvement of the artistic creative environment [long-term grants] and 3 single-year grants" (22.2% acceptance rate). The total amount of the grant is 6,750,000 yen (long-term grant: 4,800,000 yen, single-year grant: 1,950,000 yen).
