Arts Council Tokyo provides subsidies to support creative activities that improve the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture and disseminate it to the world, as well as artistic activities that address various social and urban issues.
We have decided on the target projects for the second fiscal year of FY2 (Reiwa 2020) "Creation Grant" and "Social Grant".
This term, there were 156 applications for single-year grants for Creation Grant and 15 applications for Social Grant. As a result of a rigorous review by Arts Council Tokyo, 54 single-year grants and 6 social assistance grants were selected (34.6% for single-year grants and 40% for social assistance grants). The total amount of the single-year subsidy is 68,723,000 yen, and the total amount of the social support subsidy is 4,262,000 yen.
