Arts Council Tokyo supports creative activities to improve the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture and to disseminate them to the world, as well as artistic activities that promote local culture and address various social and urban issues.
We have decided on the target projects for the first fiscal Reiwa year of FY2 (2020) "Creation Grant" and "Social Grant".
This fiscal year, there were 192 applications for single-year grants for Creation Grant and 27 applications for Social Grant. As a result of a rigorous review by Arts Council Tokyo, 70 single-year grants and 10 social assistance grants were selected (36.4% for single-year grants and 37% for social assistance grants). The total amount of single-year subsidies is 67,590,000 yen, and the total amount of social support subsidies is 6,532,000 yen.
