Arts Council Tokyo provides subsidies to organizations and other organizations that carry out activities with the ability to communicate in order to support creative activities that improve the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture and disseminate it to the world.
We have decided on the target projects for the second fiscal year of 2019 "Creation Grant" and "Social Grant".
This fiscal year, there were 128 applications for single-year grants for Creation Grant and 18 applications for Social Grant. As a result of the rigorous screening at Arts Council Tokyo, 58 creative and communication grants and 8 social support grants were selected (45.3% for creative and communication grants and 44.4% for social support grants). In addition, the total planned amount of the creative dissemination subsidy [single year] is 65,633,000 yen, and the total planned social support subsidy is 5,700,000 yen.
