Arts Council Tokyo provides subsidies to organizations and other organizations that carry out activities with the ability to communicate in order to support creative activities that improve the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture and disseminate it to the world.
We have decided on the target projects for the first fiscal year of 2019 "Creation Grant" and "Social Grant".
This term, there were 131 applications for single-year grants for Creation Grant and 25 applications for Social Grant. As a result of a rigorous review by Arts Council Tokyo, 52 single-year grants and 8 social assistance grants were selected (39.7% for single-year grants and 32% for social assistance grants). The total amount of the single-year subsidy is 63,525,000 yen, and the total amount of social support subsidy is 5,021,000 yen.
