Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo supports creative activities to improve the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture and disseminate them to the world, promote local culture and traditional performing arts, and engage in artistic activities that address various social and urban issues.
We have decided on the target projects for the Creation Grant in FY2025.
There were 214 applications for "Category I [Single-year Grant Phase 2] Art Creation Activities" and 53 were adopted (acceptance rate 24.8%). The total amount of the planned subsidy is 96,831 thousand yen. Of these, 10 are "creative environment support expenses" with a total planned amount of 723,000 yen.
There were 23 applications for "Category II [Long Term] Creative activities", and 2 were accepted (8.7% acceptance rate). The total amount of subsidies is 6,000,000 yen.
We received 30 applications (16 long-term grants, 14 single-year grants) for Category III [long-term grants] [single-year grants, 2 single-year grants], and 5 applications (3 long-term grants, 2 single-year grants) (16.7% acceptance rate). The total amount of the planned grant is 6,950,000 yen (long-term grant: 5,900,000 yen, single-year grant: 1,050,000 yen). Of these, the "creative environment support fee" is planned for a total of 100,000 yen for one case.
In addition, 21 applications were received for the newly established "Category IV [Long Term] International film screenings" from this fiscal year, and 9 were adopted (42.9% acceptance rate). The total amount of the grant is 13,998 thousand yen.
