This time, the Arts Council Tokyo (Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture) has decided on the target projects for the second phase of FY25 Creation Grant.
This grant program aims to support creative activities that promote the charm of Tokyo's arts and culture to the world, and partially covers expenses for organizations that carry out highly planned performances and exhibitions. From the second phase of FY25, in addition to single-year grants (target implementation period: October 1, 25 ~ September 30, 26), we will implement two grant programs: long-term grants for up to three years (target implementation period: October 1, 25 ~ September 30, 28). There were 128 applications for single-year grants and 29 long-term grants, and as a result of rigorous screening by the Arts Council Tokyo, 31 single-year grants and 2 long-term grants were selected (24.2% of single-year grant acceptance rates). The total amount of the single-year subsidy is 39.2 million yen, and the total long-term subsidy (3 years) is 24 million yen.
